Over the last 20 years our engineers have kept up to date on the current program languages and technologies and have successfully developed many medical devices that have been awarded Intellectual Property Patents and approval by the FDA.

Product Highlights

Poliac was instrumental in the development of the Vasotrac, Medwave's noninvasive blood pressure technology, and developed the first prototype of the Vasotrax hand held noninvasive blood pressure monitor. We developed the HealthBeacon™ product line for efficient and cost effective remote monitoring of patients and medical devices.

Marius Poliac, Ph.D., Founder Dr. Poliac has 20 years business management experience with high tech startups and over 25 years of experience in research and development, engineering, and operations of early stage medical device companies. Marius earned his Ph.D. in Control Science and Dynamical Systems from the University of Minnesota in 1989, has authored several scientific publications, and is listed as inventor on over 20 U.S. patents. Dr. Poliac has been Chairman of Poliac Research Corporation since 1989.

Charles Steaderman, V.P. of Engineering Charlie has over 20 years of experience in engineering and Product Development. Since 1991 Charlie has been instrumental in providing management and guidance for our client services. He is responsible for Product development, Project Management, Proposals, System Development, and Network Management. Charlie earned a B.S. in Applied Technology with a Minor in Applied Mathematics at University of Wisconsin Stout in 1989.

Ted McGown, VP of Operations Ted has over 25 years of sales and Business Development experience in high technology industries. Since 2002 he has led Business Development and Operations Management at Poliac. Ted’s role is to evaluate business opportunity and product development partnerships with clients and potential partners. Ted has a BA in Business Administration from Metropolitan State University in Minneapolis, MN.
